      We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our group of companies in the property environment.

      Key requirements
      • With at least five years of accounting up to balance sheet experience under your belt, including the preparation of management accounts. Bookkeeping experience in a property environment will get you give you a head-start out of the starting blocks.
      • Our dream candidate is not only a number whisperer but also possesses high emotional intelligence. After all, counting beans is one thing, but building relationships with our amazing tenants and service providers is just as important.
      • You'll need to be a master of the financial universe, with expertise in debt collection, invoicing, supplier reconciliations, cashbook processing and intercompany loan accounts. Completing VAT returns and solving VAT queries should be your bread and butter.
      • Municipal Account queries? Easy-peasy! And don't even get us started on your proficiency in balancing intercompany loan accounts & interest. You're a superhero when it comes to numbers and problem solving!
      • Reporting will be your middle name! Monthly Cashflow, tenant recoveries, management accounts - you'll handle them all with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker. Accuracy is key, and your eagle eyes won't miss a beat.
      • But it's not all about spreadsheets and reports.
      • We want someone who thrives under pressure, have excellent communication skills, multitasks like a pro, and consistently meets deadlines. Your dynamic and friendly personality will engage service providers, staff and tenants alike.
      • Software-wise, you should be a virtuoso! Sage Business Cloud/ Sage One is essential and let's not forget your Microsoft Office skills, where Excel formulas are your secret weapons.
      • We are a small team where input is valued and teamwork is our recipe for success.
      Core skills and experience
      • Minimum five years' bookkeeping/accounting experience up to balance sheet
      • Experience preparing monthly management accounts
      • Property industry bookkeeping experience (advantageous)
      • Strong VAT knowledge – submissions and resolving queries
      • Intercompany loan accounts and interest balancing
      • Debtors and creditors management
      • Supplier reconciliations and cashbook processing
      • Handling municipal account queries
      • Creating and managing monthly cash flow reports
      • Tracking and reconciling tenant recoveries
      Software and technical skills
      • Sage Business Cloud / Sage One (essential)
      • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, accuracy)
      • General proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
      Soft skills
      • High attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication skills
      • High emotional intelligence
      • Able to multitask and work under pressure
      • Friendly, team-oriented personality
      • Comfortable interacting with tenants, service providers, and staff
