We currently have job openings for journalists focusing on travel, tourism, and energy. Each position involves in-depth research, reporting, and writing on key developments in your chosen sector (rather than covering all industries). Our journalists contribute to respected publications—including titles such as Travel News, Tourism Update, and Energize—and have opportunities to make a difference through targeted editorial that reaches a wide professional community.

Key responsibilities:

• Sector-Specific research and reporting: Investigate current news, trends, and developments affecting your chosen sector (travel,           tourism, or energy) within the B2B space.
• Interviewing: Conduct interviews with industry professionals, including C-suite executives, stakeholders, and thought leaders for firsthand insights.
• Writing and storytelling: Produce well-researched, compelling news stories and articles tailored to each publication’s audience.
• Data interpretation: Analyse industry reports and technical information to create accurate, insightful content that resonates with readers.
• Collaboration and teamwork: Work closely with editors and fellow writers to ensure the highest standards of journalism and editorial integrity.
• Meeting deadlines: Manage your workload effectively, delivering quality work on time in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: 

• Professional experience: Demonstrated journalism or writing experience, with a portfolio of published work. Previous exposure to travel, tourism, or energy topics is highly advantageous.
• Educational background: A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent command of written English and strong editing abilities
• Ability to interpret data and industry reports for clear, engaging articles
• Confidence in networking and building industry contacts
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Self-motivation to produce original, high-quality reporting
• Practical requirements: A valid driver’s license and vehicle, as travel may be needed for events and interviews.
