Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

An autonomous Namibian bank, providing superior financial services to individual and corporate clients as well as international banking services by liaising directly with financial centres and institutions worldwide is looking for an senior business intelligence analyst. The unique position gives a deep insight into the compliance and IT Methodology processes within the group and offer internal clients an extended warranty due to their vested interests in the success and sustainability of the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Qlik, Excel and Power Pivot
• Design, develop and maintain robust SQL databases to support business operations.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all databases.
• Ensure data visualizations are accessible, accurate, and actionable for end-users across the organization.
• Tailor reports and dashboards to meet the specific needs of various clients across different sectors.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• Five-plus years of experience in a data warehousing environment and BI projects
• Experience in a BPO or similar environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Azure DevOps
• Kanban
• Power BI
• Data Management
• SQL Server
• T-SQL

The Reference Number for this position is NG59828 which is a Permanent role based in Fourways, Johannesburg offering a cost to company of up to R800,000 to R950,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
