Haldane is seeking a highly motivated professional delivery driver to represent our premium outdoor furniture brand. Based in Salt River, Cape Town, this permanent position offers R20,000 (experience dependent) and operates weekdays 8:30 to 16:30.

Core responsibilities include:

• Professional delivery and installation of luxury outdoor furniture
• Quality control and collection of manufacturing components
• Vehicle maintenance and logbook management
• Documentation handling and digital record-keeping
• Client liaison and exceptional customer service
• Assisting with safe loading and unloading of heavy furniture
• Support assembly team with furniture positioning
• Team collaboration with sales, production, and accounts departments
• Digital management of deliveries using company iPhone (GPS, WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Tasks, Email, Dropbox)

Required skills

• Delivery driver: 2 to 3 years
• Code 10 driving: 2 to 3 years

Candidate requirements

Essential:

• Valid Code 10 SA driver's licence
• South African citizen or valid work permit
• Matric or Equivalent (English, Afrikaans, Mathematics)
• Minimum three years' delivery experience
• Clean driving record and criminal record
• Excellent English communication skills
• Physical fitness for furniture handling
• Strong time management skills
• Digital literacy for smartphone applications
• Professional presentation and positive attitude

Advantageous:

• Experience in service industry/hospitality/high-end sales/design
• Prior experience in luxury goods handling
