Graphic Designer

Based at: Orms Cape Town (not remote!)
What you’ll do:
Conceptualise and design creative campaigns for:
- Orms Direct (+its various suppliers)
- Orms Print Room and Framing
- Orms Cape Town School of Photography
Including but not limited to:
- Social media (Instagram, Facebook)
- Newsletter marketing
- In-store materials (including print)
Minimum educational and knowledge level required:
- Relevant design diploma
- Strong portfolio with demonstrated design skills across digital ads, creative concepts, layout design and digital campaigns
- Minimum two to three years’ experience working in the design field, preferably in online media
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email platforms
- Exposure to project management tools like Monday (or similar)
- Experience working on digital campaigns/online media
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Advantageous:
- Copywriting (or any writing experience or background)
- Knowledge of UX and web design
- Interest and/or experience in photography
- Retail experience
- Knowledge of After Effects and other motion design software
- Print media
Key performance areas:
- Execution of briefs within given deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to innovate while still upholding the Orms brand
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of international and local design trends
