Tang Plus on drive to capture SA market
Powdered soft drink brand Tang Plus, which has a 31% value share in the South African market after just two years, has set its sights on even bigger growth with the launch of a new Apple flavour and a lower selling price. Kraft Foods South Africa has reduced the recommended selling price by 37,5% to retail at R2.49. To boost sales and drive volumes Kraft has embarked on a publicity drive to inform mothers of the new affordable pricing.
