Actress Nomzamo Mbatha is on the cover of Cosmopolitan South Africa's inaugural activism issue in celebration of Women's Month. Mbatha has been using her platform as a celebrity to shed light on issues like refugees across Africa and tackling mental health issues on campus.

The magazine has also released 5,000 limited-edition covers, which are only available at Clicks stores nationwide. A portion of every limited-edition issue sold will go to the non-profit organisation Skateistan, that runs girls-only skateboarding sessions and addresses the gender divide by helping girls feel empowered through skateboarding and providing homework support and career education and planning.
