Role overview

As an intermediate web developer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web applications. Working closely with designers and backend developers, you’ll build responsive, user-centric interfaces using Vue.js and React.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain: Build and enhance web applications using React.js and Vue 2
• Collaborate: Work with designers and backend developers to create seamless, cohesive user experiences
• Optimise: Ensure performance across multiple devices and browsers
• Code reviews: Engage in constructive code reviews to refine code quality
• Document and improve: Help create best practices and documentation for frontend development

What you bring to the table

• Experience: Two to five years in web development
• Technical skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and strong understanding of Vue.js and React
• Modern development: Familiar with TypeScript, ECMAScript, and RESTful APIs
• Version control: Knowledge of Git
• Attention to detail: Keen eye for user experience and design

Bonus skills (nice-to-haves)

• State management: Familiarity with Vuex, Redux, or similar
• Design tools: Experience with Figma or Adobe XD
• Build and CI: Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration
• Backend exposure: Some experience with server-side frameworks or backend development
• Framework expertise: Familiarity with Nuxt or Next.js

Location and work flexibility

This role requires in-office presence, although hybrid work may be possible based on project needs.
