Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data pipelines using modern data platforms.
- Expert in mapping data flows within Azure Data Factory, ensuring seamless integration and transformation of structured and unstructured data.
- Act as a data custodian, ensuring data sharing aligns with information classification policies and access control measures.
- Utilize Python, Spark, SQL, and Kusto to develop efficient data processing solutions.
- Implement and optimize Azure Data Solutions, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Databricks.
- Drive data engineering best practices with a strong foundation in data warehouse design and architecture.
- Apply DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies to streamline data workflows.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics and BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field focused on data-intensive applications.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing scalable data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Expertise in managing Azure infrastructure components, including:
- Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure AD and AD Connect
- Operations Management Suite/Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery
- Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Server, MySQL
- Azure Automation and related tools
- Strong expertise in mapping data flows within Azure Data Factory, ensuring efficient data transformation and orchestration.
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL for data engineering tasks.
