Details:- South African applicants only
- Applicants must be under 29 years
- Position runs for six months from start date with option to renew for a further six months
- Offices in the Cape Town City Centre
- Applicants must reside in cape town
- Full-day position, five days a week (08h30 – 17h00)
- Occasional overtime is required
- A minimum of one year working experience in an office environment
- Candidate receives a monthly stipend
Requirements: A completed university degree in:
- Communication science
- Media studies
- Marketing
- Journalism
- Sociology
- English
- Politics
The ideal candidate would have:- A passion for communication and very hard work
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- An eye for detail
- An interest in media and the SA media landscape
- General knowledge/interest in current affairs
- An interest in research
Non-negotiable skill requirements:- High-level command of the English language (both written and spoken)
- Copy-editing ability and good command of English grammar
- Fully computer literate (Full Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Research skills
- Attention to detail
- Keen interest in cultural heritage studies
