Roles and responsibilities as per recruitment assistants CVP’s (Core Value Points):
- Assist with marketing strategy implementation for AFDA programmes and campuses.
- Assist with student recruitment activities to secure incoming student body – support Recruitment Officer with all primary recruitment activities, including (but not limited to) school visits, presentations, on-campus events like Open Days, Holiday Workshops etc.
- Assist recruitment officer with admissions administration, including creating and maintaining enquiry databases, processing student application details and logging registration payments received.
- Assist Recruitment Officer with follow up and feedback systems and processes - answering student enquiries, scheduling consultations, follow-up phonecalls and emails.
- Assist with advertising and branding by ensuring campus material is well and neatly stored and assist with regular audits of marketing material stock on hand.
- Assist with communication and relationships through bulk communication and feedback data.
- As an extension of the core value points, the following duties are expected to be fulfilled: Executing quality calling (outgoing / follow-up phonecalls) as well as incoming enquiries from prospective students and/or parents.
- Assist with driving the student application process from enquiry to application, acceptance, consultation and registration, ultimately resulting in enrolment.
- Assisting with admissions to ensure timeous and accurate processing of all applications with prompt communication and excellent customer service, including assisting with issuing acceptance letters electronically.
- Maintaining processes and preparing deliverables as instructed by Recruitment Officer as per targets and/or deadlines.
- Confident, consistent and professional communication if/when engaging with prospective students and related stakeholders (eg. parents) - including via face-to-face communication, emails and calls
- Relevant undergraduate degree (AFDA alumni is favourable)
- Six months to two years' sales and/or customer relations experience
- AFDA employs candidates in line with the Employment Equity Act and as such preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (proficient in English)
