Main duties and responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating all work through the creative, strategy, and digital departments.
- Liaising between all departments within the agency.
- Attending weekly status meetings, creative status meetings, and standups.
- Monitoring the schedules and workloads of all creatives (ATL and digital).
- Overseeing jobs and ensuring they are on track, on time, and allocated correctly.
- Ensuring timesheets are completed on time and accurately.
- Trafficking and assisting in trafficking creative and digital creative briefs, ensuring briefs are received on time.
- Chasing all briefs.
- Scheduling job kick-starters and reviews with creative directors, client service, production, and strategy.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on all briefs to ensure satisfaction with the quality of briefs entering the system.
- Ensuring that work flows through the various stages accordingly and is completed on time as per deadlines.
- Communicating any concerns or delays to the traffic director and client services team.
- Liaising with the client service and creative teams to ensure efficiency and continuity across all jobs.
- Chasing production on cost estimates and CPAs.
- Chasing the strategy team for delivery on all jobs.
- Liaising with DTP and fast-tracking jobs that need to be handed over to them.
- Managing the entire creative studio in the absence of the traffic director.
- Matric/Grade 12 minimum.
- Knowledge of the advertising industry.
- A good understanding of the creative process involved.
- One or more years’ experience in an agency environment.
- Understanding of advertising and the creative process.
- Highly organised, systematic, and efficient.
- Outstanding planning and time management skills.
- Proactive and methodical with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Good command of both written and verbal English.
- Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to manage expectations.
- Self-motivated and a responsible team player.
- Very deadline-driven.
