Job description

We have an opening for an experienced public relations professional with a proven track record of successful account management to work on one of our most dynamic accounts. This position is focused primarily on managing content creator and media relations campaigns in the running, football, rugby, netball, and fitness sectors.

Responsibilities include: Developing PR strategies, creating and managing PR timelines, managing influencer campaigns, creating influencer marketing reports, identifying news angles, developing editorial content, building media lists, pitching to media, securing editorials in print, broadcast and digital channels, monthly reports, event planning and implementation, guest list development and management, managing seeding and giveaways, advertorial negotiation and management, travel co-ordination for global junkets.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in PR, journalism, or media and communications with influencer marketing experience essential.
• Three years + PR experience within an agency or in-house at a company, at account manager level. Experience at managing influencer campaigns essential
• A keen interest or participation in sport, especially running, football, rugby, netball or fitness training is an advantage.

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
