Robert Gentle has 25 years of experience in financial journalism, communication consulting and writing training. He has written every conceivable type of corporate document: from reports, proposals and presentations to speeches, advertisements and video scripts.
Robert started his writing career as a financial journalist for the South African newspaper, Business Day, reporting out of Johannesburg and London. Fluent in French, Robert also wrote for La Cote Desfossés and Le Nouvel Economiste in Paris. He then moved into corporate PR in Johannesburg before setting up on his own as a communication consultant and corporate trainer.

Robert has a degree in mechanical engineering and did post-graduate studies in aeronautical engineering and computer science. He is the author of Read this - business writing that works and Consultant - market yourself.
