A journalist and editorial specialist in content development across print, online and radio platforms with a particular passion for entrepreneurship and SMME's. Director and co-founder of a "for purpose" business that launches entrepreneurial kids.
After teaching for many years and a short sojourn to South America, I have a good few years of journalism under my belt along with two university degrees. I have written for business publications such as the WITS business journal and Finweek magazine and alongside that, I have diversified across into radio, as a presenter and producer for Hot 91.9fm and Moneyweb.
I have combined my passion for education and entrepreneurship in a for-purpose business that intervenes in the education shortfall in entrepreneurship and gets kids from age 9 to start engaging with the world of new venture creation.
I established Futureproof to teach kids from the age of 8-years-old about the practical and theoretical art of entrepreneurship. The Futureproof team is made up of 30+ entrepreneurs who facilitate programs in schools around the country.
