Amandine Robin is a design thinker. She co-founded Innovative Matters, a strategic innovation lab with Dora Jurd in 2014. Innovative Matters is dedicated to designing innovative concepts and building consistent brand experiences.
With a background in applied mathematics, having worked for 14 years as a researcher and lecturer (including at Wits University), she has built a number of mathematical model for diverse problems using remote sensing, including precision agriculture or mining. This gave her a particular angle of analysis and very inter-disciplinary skills that she currently uses for R&D and product innovation.
She is a published author and speaker, and contributed to the 2015 Brands&Branding edition with a narrative on South African family businesses.
