Alan Browde, CEO and founder of SA Harvest, began his career as a dairy farmer overseas before returning to South Africa. He worked as a marketing product manager at Stellenbosch Farmers Wineries, then joined Grey Advertising Group as managing director. After running his own marketing services company for 25 years, Bowde founded SA Harvest in 2016. The organisation, which has over 35 employees and operates in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg, has delivered more than 77 million rescued meals to community-based organisations, with a mission to end hunger in South Africa.
