Last minute cancellation of Rory Sutherland at Digital Edge Live
A last minute cancellation of an Air France flight to Johannesburg, has unfortunately stranded Rory Sutherland, one of the key note speakers at today's Nedbank Digital Edge Live event.
Loki Magerman, The Digital Edge Live spokesperson, confirmed that as soon as the team was notified of the problem yesterday afternoon, they had tried to find an alternative plan to fly Sutherland to South Africa. "Unfortunately this was not possible within the limited timeframe. Our last attempt was to fly Rory back to the Ogilvy UK office for a live stream to the Johannesburg audience later today," says Magerman.
The Digital Edge Live event starts at 11am today, 30 September, at the Vodadom in Midrand.
