Group account director (reporting to the business director)
Key purpose of role
The group account director (GAD) will be the primary point of contact within TBWA for beverage brands. They will be responsible for managing TTL project delivery across different functional teams and coordinating campaigns with all partners.

Client relationship development
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
- Develop and cultivate positive business relationships with clients across all seniority levels with regular contact regarding campaigns and other matters such as crises.
- Understand clients' core business objectives and the pace of change within the sector, and demonstrate adaptability.
- Understand the variables and trends shaping the current market and categories.
- Oversee internal stakeholders and work with agency subject matter experts to ensure client deliverables align with plans and expectations and are delivered on time.
- Coordinate partner agencies while leading the account and its integration.
- Lead the business in a constructive and creative manner.
- Ensure the agency delivers on its product, particularly the strategic and creative aspects.
- Guide creative teams to ensure that the clients' business objectives and strategy are reflected in all work so that the creative output clearly aligns with brand positioning.
- Own the development and management of client programmes, project goals, schedules, and deliverables from internal agency teams and resources.
- Assist the business unit director (BUD) and business director (BD) in identifying and improving processes and efficiency.
- Own the financials for clients, ensuring all key financial responsibilities are mutually understood and agreed upon.
- Support a culture of cost control and income growth within the team, and oversee the management of income for all client accounts.
- Lead cross-capability teams to deliver customer-centric, creative thinking and powerful ideas that meet client objectives and goals.
Required knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and experience across all advertising disciplines (account services, creative, digital, production, strategy).
- Ten years of experience in advertising account management.
- Superior time management and organisational skills, with proven ability to prioritise responsibilities and accomplish goals.

- Accountability for delivering agency scope of work within contracted guidelines.
