Key purpose of the role

• To form part of the production department audio engineering Team with a focus on Commercial Client audio to ensure that all commercial client audio output is of high quality and standards.
• To support the rest of the Audio Engineering Team as needed.
• To build and maintain good relationships with commercial clients
• To ensure that all audio is checked and loaded according to station standards.

Key outputs and responsibilities

Produce Commercial Audio:

• Work with clients in the studio to produce creative and professional audio commercials.
• Project manage commercial recordings and material
• Produce brand imaging, demos, podcasts, video and digital audio.
• Direct voice-over artists in recording sessions.
• Load audio onto play-out systems.

Educational qualifications

• Min. Required: Matric
• Diploma/Degree in audio engineering

Required knowledge and experience 

• Proficient experience in Pro Tools software is essential.
• 2 years minimum experience in a radio production environment.
• Ability to work effectively with different teams across the business

Required skills

• Ability to work with clients in a production studio.
• Ability to direct voice-over artists
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
