CBR Marketing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our search engine marketing department in the capacity of a PPC specialist. We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of using Google Analytics to create marketing audiences and Google Tag Manager to track and record key performance metrics for e-commerce campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in PPC advertising and can create strategies to automate and scale conversions across Google Marketing Platforms.

Key objectives and accountabilities

1. Technical/analytical
  • Compose, launch, and optimise advertising campaigns using Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Gather advertising objectives, analyse them, and interpret them into digital ad campaigns that are objective-based and data-driven.
  • Create or manage the creation of effective display, search, shopping, and video ads, then run A/B testing to measure key performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports for internal teams and clients on campaign progress using available reporting tools such as Data Studio and PowerPoint.
  • Research client business goals to compose variations of ad copy for campaign use.
  • Have the vision to grow your role and the company in general, with ample opportunity in this growing business.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for assigned accounts, managing all communication and tasks with relevant stakeholders.
  • Execute remarketing and conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, with enhanced e-commerce tracking as an added advantage.
  • Stay up to date with new techniques, strategies, and changes to test for better results and campaign success.
2. Research, reporting, and strategy
  • Formulate and drive the implementation of overall paid and organic strategies for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies internally and as per the marketing objectives of clients.
  • Research and present findings and trends; keep abreast of the latest PPC and SEM trends, conduct research, monitor changes, and manage implementation.
  • Test, measure, and refine services provided by the department.
  • Accurately report statistics and provide recommendations, presenting outcomes where needed.
  • Provide insights and maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors.
  • Ensure timely reporting to all stakeholders on data management, including structured feedback on ROI, identifying gaps, and managing data for remarketing.
3. Budget and bid management
  • Ensure increased ROI through effective budget and bid management.
4. Campaign management
  • Manage and develop new campaigns across multiple channels.
5. Client satisfaction
  • Ensure client satisfaction and effective delivery of all objectives.

  • Effective and professional management of all SEO client accounts.

  • SEO retainers and assigned budgets are managed accurately.
Ideal background

Education
  • BCom, marketing, business or other relevant degree or diploma.
  • Required Google Ads and Analytics certification.
Languages
  • Business English.
Experience
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
Competency profile

Specific professional competencies
  • Over three years of experience in Google Ads campaign management.
  • Over three years of experience with creating retargeting/remarketing audiences using Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Enhanced e-commerce tracking is an added advantage.
  • Experience with the principles of creating an advertising campaign, including audience targeting strategies, generating ad creative for testing, and optimising for increased ROAS.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data for insights and next steps.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capability of self-direction and motivation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with some responsibilities being time-sensitive and under tight deadlines.
