Position overview
The digital content curator plays a pivotal role in connecting the events production team with the company’s digital audience. In this role, you will gather, organise, and transform event-specific information into compelling, platform-tailored content that engages audiences and reflects our branding and marketing objectives.
Beyond showcasing events, you will take the lead in crafting strategies to enhance our online presence, develop engaging brand narratives, and drive meaningful digital interactions across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities
Event profiling and content management
- Partner with the events production team to gather comprehensive details about upcoming and past events, ensuring all information is accurate and relevant.
- Adapt collected content into engaging formats tailored for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and blogs.
- Craft compelling titles, hooks, and summaries that align with our tone and branding.
- Maintain and manage a content calendar to ensure timely publication of event profiles and related updates, enhancing audience engagement and consistency.
- Design and execute a robust digital content strategy to showcase services, amplify brand presence, and connect with target audiences across multiple digital channels.
- Monitor and analyse digital performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities, refining strategies for continuous improvement.
- Source, edit, and curate high-quality multimedia content, including photos, videos, infographics, and written articles, to enrich digital platforms.
- Build and maintain a centralised repository of digital assets, such as event imagery, testimonials, and reusable content, to streamline content creation.
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Collaborate with external vendors or freelancers, such as videographers and graphic designers, for specialised content production.
- Assist in the creation of paid advertising campaigns by crafting ad copy, selecting visuals, and coordinating campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Optimise digital content for SEO to boost visibility and drive organic traffic to digital channels.
- Manage email marketing initiatives, from newsletter design to performance tracking and reporting.
- Foster engagement within the online community by responding to social media comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-consistent manner.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to align digital content initiatives with organisational goals and event strategies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for digital inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses that reflect the brand voice.
- Share insights and provide guidance to team members on best practices for digital content creation, platform usage, and brand representation.
Educational background:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital media, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Certification in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management is advantageous.
- Content expertise: Exceptional skills in writing, editing, and storytelling, with a strong grasp of digital content creation and management.
- Technical proficiency: Proficient in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and basic graphic design or photo editing software.
- Digital marketing knowledge: Solid experience in SEO, paid advertising, analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics), and email marketing platforms.
- Strategic thinking: Proven ability to craft content strategies that align with broader business goals and objectives.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent collaboration and communication abilities for working seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Project management: Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Creative mindset: A passion for storytelling paired with the ability to think innovatively and deliver engaging content.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and keep pace with emerging tools, trends, and technologies in the digital landscape.
- Minimum of five years of experience in digital content creation and curation.
- Experience in the events industry is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proven track record of managing digital platforms and creating high-quality, engaging content.
- CMS platforms: HubSpot CMS, WordPress.
- Social media tools: HubSpot marketing suite, Hootsuite.
- Design tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Analytics tools: HubSpot dashboards, Google Analytics.
- Email marketing: HubSpot.
- Project management: Magnetic, HubSpot, MS Planner, Airtable, OneDrive, SharePoint.

Our offices are located in the vibrant Rosebank business hub. This is an office-based role, with occasional on-site work at venues or studios during event days. Please note that work-from-home or hybrid arrangements do not apply to this position.
Due to the nature of our business, you may also be required to work outside regular office hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Occasional out-of-town travel may also be necessary.
Office hours: 8:30 am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
