An IT solution company dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to optimize our data processes.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex datasets using statistical methods to uncover valuable insights and trends.
• Data Mining: Utilize machine learning techniques to discover patterns in large datasets, enhancing our data-driven strategies.
• Data Visualization: Create impactful visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Data Cleaning: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by cleaning and preprocessing datasets.
• Data Modelling: Build and test predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize findings and actionable recommendations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data science team members and other departments to identify business problems and collaboratively develop innovative solutions.
• Programming: Write scripts and code in SQL to automate data analysis processes and streamline workflows.

Qualifications and experience:

• National diploma in information technology or bachelor of degree
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure and Fabric. (+ 3 years)
• Relevant certifications in Azure and data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, data mining, and statistical methods.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Solid understanding of data cleaning and pre-processing methodologies.
• Familiarity with predictive modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with automating data workflows.

The Reference Number for this position is NG59795 which is a Permanent Hybrid position based in Midrand, Johannesburg is offering a cost to company of R550,000 up to R850,000 per annum, salary negotiable based on experience.
