Job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented business analyst intern to join our team. The Intern will play a crucial role in analyzing SACAP business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical business management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems.

  The candidate will be responsible for the following:

       Business analyst

• Assist in assessing progress against the business plan to ensure the attainment of goals and effective service delivery;
• Assist in analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business and operational decisions of SACAP;
• Assist in identifying and analyzing performance gaps and develop appropriate strategies to address them
• Assist to scan Internal and external environments to monitor changes that may impact on the strategy and the plans of SACAP.
• Assist in developing IT solutions that enhance the performance of SACAP;
• Assist in ensuring that all departments adhere to standard operating procedures;
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the ongoing optimization of operations of SACAP;    
• Assist in collating departmental performance information in terms of the Performance Information Policy;
• Assist with quality assurance of performance information.
• Assist in scanning the internal and external environment for trends, opportunities, and threats to feed into the plans of SACAP.

 Research and development

• Assist to undertake research into matters relating to the architectural profession;
• Assist in developing and executing comprehensive research plans to address SACAP goals and challenges;
• Assist in conducting in-depth market research, built environment, architecture profession analysis, and trend assessments to identify opportunities for innovation;
• Assist in identifying emerging technologies and trends that align with business objectives of SACAP;
• Assist in implementing quality control measures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of research outcomes.

Requirements:

• Matric/ Grade 12
• Business Management qualification from an accredited education institution or equivalent qualification
• Experience in business analysis and research will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Familiarity with built environment industry trends and emerging technologies

In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager of organisational Performance and ICT.
