Medical Receptionist/ Assistant - George, Western Cape

Our client is looking for a compassionate and organized individual to join their healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist/Assistant in George, Western Cape.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to delivering exceptional patient care. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in a healthcare setting, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements: 

• Previous medical Receptionist/Assistant background
• Computer literate 

 
General Duties:

• Water plants
• Ensure the kitchen and bathroom are clean
• Check power levels on the box once a week
• Send invoices to patients
• Forward histology reports and referrals
• Answer phone calls
• Respond to WhatsApp messages and emails
• Send daily totals to Susan
• File patient records
• Prepare tea for the doctor (Anike assists with this)
• Process Joice Loan calculations
• Manage orders
• Attach slips to relevant files
• Send a daily WhatsApp message with the patient schedule for the next day
• File additional documents
• Manage petty cash
• Report Red Box details
