Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented commercial underwriter to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Job description
- Providing accurate and detailed underwriting of commercial insurance applications.
- Assessing risk factors and determining appropriate coverage and pricing.
- Offering expert advice to clients to help them understand their insurance needs.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving problems.
- Grade 12 Matric Certificate
- Proven experience as a commercial underwriter in the insurance industry
- Proficiency with specialised industry quoting systems
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- RES qualification
- REI qualification
- Class of Business qualifications (personal and commercial lines)
