DevOps Technical Lead
An international company, currently experiencing significant growth through a major recruitment drive, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Technical Lead. This exciting opportunity is based in Durban and offers a hybrid work model, combining the best of both in-office and remote work environments.
Key responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a dynamic DevOps team to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage and optimize Docker environments for various applications.
- Develop, implement, and enforce CI/CD best practices to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate processes and enhance system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various environments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required qualifications and skills:- Minimum of six years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of best practices in software development and system administration.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
