Description of position:

Our dynamic product sourcing and marketing company is looking for a talented mid to senior-level graphic designer to join our high-capacity creative team. This is an opportunity to become part of a small, fun and hardworking team that services a larger national and international company and its wide variety of brands, products and projects.

About the role:

• Your primary responsibilities will include Packaging Design, Brand Development, Design of Marketing and Point-Of-Sale Material, Presentations, Visual Mock-ups and everything that goes along with taking a product from source to retail.
• There is also a strong digital aspect to our business that from time to time requires design support in terms of Digital Campaigns and Online Marketing Material.
• You will work with various Product Managers and receive oversight from the Creative Team Manager and Lead Designer while equally being given space to explore creative ideas and design solutions.
• Attention to detail and mature self-management is critical to this role as you will at times need to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and keeping to the highest quality delivery standards.
• Excellent Communication ability is essential as you will need to be able to effectively communicate with various team members and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide creative solutions.
• This role is ideal for someone who wants to be given responsibility and then trusted to run with it. You will often work on whole projects from beginning to end while other team members are working on their own projects. You will at times also work on projects with other members of the creative team. 

Formal qualification: 

• National Diploma (3 years) or bachelor’s degree in graphic design

Skills and experience:

• Minimum of seven years professional experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite’s design software.
• General proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Advantageous:

• Product Photography experience
• Studio Lighting experience
• Videography
• Adobe Premier
• Adobe After Effects
