Quality Checker

We are seeking a detail oriented and quality focused quality checker that has experience in the digital printing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting products, materials and equipment to ensure they meet our high quality standards. The quality checker will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control checks on jobs as they are processed
• Inspect banners, vinyl's, paper prints, acrylics, sizes, quantity, layouts to quality standards
• Verify all printed jobs meet customer specifications as per the work ticket
• Able to read and understand work ticket and make sure all banners and vinyl's have the correct finishing instructions
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and able to communicate effectively
• Able to brief the staff on the job at hand and understanding what the end prints need to be finished at
• Making sure all elements required are accounted for

Required:

• Only candidates with experience in the digital printing industry will be considered
• 2 - 3 years' experience in quality control in the digital printing industry
• Strong attention to detail and able to delegate and follow instructions
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of quality control in terms of how the printing quality needs to be
• Must be able to follow a distribution list

Working conditions:

• Work in a fast paced production environment
• Stand for long periods and must be available for overtime in the week and weekends
• Must be able to work with opinionated staff
