The e-commerce sales assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including managing online sales, customer interactions, order processing, and assisting in promotional campaigns to drive sales and engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage client accounts, process orders, and ensure timely delivery of vouchers and products.
- Respond to client inquiries via email and WhatsApp within 24 hours, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage and track inventory levels of over 6,000 products across multiple brands and update stock control systems accurately.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and contribute to growing our e-commerce catalogue.
- Coordinate day-to-day e-commerce operations, including loading products, updating pricing, and ensuring accurate product information.
- Write compelling and informative product descriptions for our e-commerce platform.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure accuracy in accounting records and supplier invoices.
- Complete and submit accurate daily reports through our online portal.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Tertiary diploma or degree.
- At least one years’ experience in e-commerce or similar.
- Good understanding of logistics processes (from supplier orders to customer deliveries)
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, advanced Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs), PowerPoint, and experience with e-commerce platform
- Full-time position
- Monday - Friday
- Salary: R12,000 - R15,000 per month (dependent on experience)
