Our Cape Town office is looking for a junior copywriter specialising in both above-the-line (ATL) and digital campaigns to join our creative team.

Our ideal candidate

• Has just finished studying or has worked in an advertising agency for at least one year.
• Is able to work across various target markets, platforms, and channels.
• Is willing to learn and understand retail brands.
• Keeps a cool head and delivers exceptional results under pressure, against fast and tight deadlines, and in volume.
• Works collaboratively in a team and is resourceful, focused, and level-headed.
• Is based in Cape Town and willing to work both in-office and remotely.

Requirements

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or diploma in copywriting is advantageous.
• Alternatively, can demonstrate an ability to think and write creatively.

Experience

• Zero to one year of relevant experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency.
• A college, university, television, or radio portfolio is required.

Skills

• Solid knowledge and understanding of digital platforms in conjunction with traditional channels.
• Understanding of social content, including SEO, SEM, AdWords, and analytics reporting, would be an advantage.
