Not only did we grow our circulation figures by 4% compared with the immediate previous quarter, but also showed a 4% year-on-year growth. This is especially outstanding when we look at daily newspapers as a whole, whose circulation increased by 1% compared with October-December 2017, but decreased by 13% compared with the same period a year ago. Our Saturday publication, Saturday Citizen boasts with an even more phenomenal performance. Our circulation figures for Saturday are up 12% and 10% compared with the last quarter of 2017 and the first quarter of 2017 respectively. Weekend newspapers as a category showed 0% change in circulation since the last quarter of 2017, and declined 9% compared with January-March 2017.
