The Johannesburg Business School (JBS) was established in 2017 at the University of Johannesburg. JBS is the newest business school in Johannesburg and is ideally located in the hub of the financial and economic heartbeat of Africa. As such, we are well placed to promote collaborative learning and industry insights through our strong relationships with business leaders and entrepreneurs in Johannesburg and throughout the continent.

At JBS, students experience an innovative teaching style geared to the complex environment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), yet at the same time remaining authentically African. Masterclasses, Executive Education and the MBA use an innovative teaching style that is designed to provide students with relevant skills, knowledge and critical thinking capabilities suited to the challenges introduced by the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
