Dentons makes several appointments as firm continues to grow

Dentons South Africa has appointed five new partners and 12 additional lawyers at its Johannesburg and Cape Town offices. Dentons' appointments include three lateral hires; commercial, competition law and regulatory compliance lawyer, Anthony Crane, corporate investigations partner, David Loxton, and litigation specialist, Elton Anderson.

Other appointments at the firm include that of partner, Nikita Lalla, who leads the SA construction and infrastructure team, as well as counsel, Patrick Deale, whose expertise lies in employment law and alternative dispute resolution. In addition, corporate and commercial lawyer, Simla Ramdayal, was promoted to partner in 2016 and counsel Alan Jafta, a media and sports law specialist, joined the firm in February 2017.
