A closer look at the new E-Law
The controversial Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Bill was signed into law last week. While the bill has been welcomed in some quarters as filling a legislative void, particularly in the area of electronic contracts, others have concerns that some aspects have not been dealt with in sufficient detail.
