Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards entries open
Entries for the 19th edition of the Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards (VJOYs) are now open. This year's awards, themed "RE: Imagine, Invent, Build", will see media veterans such as Ryland Fisher, Mapi Mhlangu, Elna Rossouw and Jermaine Craig on the awards' panel of judges.
Entrants can enter to win in any of the 12 categories which include Sport, Features and Photography. Regional category winners will receive R5,000, national category winners will be awarded R10,000, while the overall Vodacom Journalist of the Year Award winner will be awarded R100,000.
The deadline for entries is 28 August 2020.
