Data Engineer

Responsibilities:- Expanding and optimising our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.
- Building data pipelines builder and data wrangling while optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.
- You must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.
- Optimising or even re-designing our company’s data architecture to support our next generation of products and data insights and solutions.
- Ability in operating a big data ecosystem
Qualifications and experience: - Three-plus years of experience in developing data solutions including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting applications.
- A degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or area of study related to data sciences, data engineering and data mining or relevant experience.
- Are proficient in data application/software architecture (Definition, Business Process Modelling, etc.).
- Experience working SQL & Python knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Experience building and optimising ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
