- Provide clinical advice to the company and its members regarding dental in and out of hospital benefit and risk management.
Minimum requirements:- Grade 12
- A Degree in Dentistry – Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BCHD)
- Completed Community Service
- Registration with HPCSA
- Registration with SADA
- A minimum of 3 years managed healthcare experience in all of the following areas:
Managed Healthcare in South Africa, specifically dental benefit managementDevelopment of funding guidelines and protocolsDevelopment of treatment pathways and defining outcomesClinical risk software systems and their developmentMust have sound knowledge of the Medical Aid Industry, Medical Schemes Act, Tariff Codes, ICD10 codes, Procedure codes, Rules and Regulations, and other related legislation work experience- Budgeting and financial control
Salary is commensurate with experience level.
