Junior Qlik Developer

An AI and Fleet telematics company assisting with day-to-day operations, forecasting, reporting & compliance are in the market for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Qlik Developer to join our Products team. In this role, you will support the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of QlikView and Qlik Sense applications and you will assist in building optimized data models, insightful dashboards, and automated reporting solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational Qlik knowledge who is eager to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining QlikView and Qlik Sense applications.
• Work with QVD files to optimize data storage and performance.
• Use scripting techniques (e.g., loops) to automate data transformation and loading processes.
• Develop and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Support integration of various data sources (databases, flat files, APIs) into Qlik applications.
• Assist in the development of reports using Qlik NPrinting, Qlik Excel Add-in, and Pixel Perfect templates.
• Participate in the automation and distribution of reports.
• Troubleshoot existing applications and help optimize performance.
• Support Qlik license management and billing audits.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years with QlikView and/or Qlik Sense
• Certifications: Qlik Sense Business Analyst or Data Architect (advantageous).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for data processing.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge (MS SQL, PostgreSQL; NoSQL is a plus).
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git).

The reference number for this position is NG60025 which is an Onsite position based in Centurion offering a salary of R320k to R420k cost to company per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
