Who are we?Established automotive group are expanding into the digital space with an online vehicle procurement platform. Their goal is to build a strong online brand and create a competitive presence in the automotive market.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for a head of Digital Marketing who is hands-on, strategic, and entrepreneurial. This is a blank canvas, and we need someone who can take ownership of the digital marketing strategy and execute campaigns that deliver measurable results.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Agency experience and a background in retail marketing
- Strong expertise in paid media and lead generation
- Proven track record in managing Google Ads and Facebook advertising
- Ability to set up and optimise campaigns for maximum cost efficiency and lead volume
- Experience with CRM and lead tracking systems
- Understanding of basic social media management
- Experience in e-commerce or online sales optimisation
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work remotely
What will you do?Your initial focus will be to drive online traffic and generate leads for the vehicle procurement site. Over time, your role will expand to managing the overall digital marketing strategy for the entire dealership group.
Key responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, and other digital platforms
- Drive qualified leads quickly through targeted paid media strategies
- Manage campaign budgets, ensuring maximum ROI
- Oversee CRM implementation and lead tracking systems
- Develop and execute social media strategies to build engagement and brand awareness
- Track and report on campaign performance, cost per lead, and conversions
- Optimise landing pages and website UX to improve conversions
- Implement SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and visibility
- Utilise email marketing and automation for customer nurturing
- Work with developers to enhance the website experience and functionality
- Identify partnership opportunities with influencers and automotive platforms
What do you need?- Five-plus years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on paid media and e-commerce
- Agency experience and knowledge of retail marketing
- Hands-on expertise in running Google ads and Facebook campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and ability to optimise campaigns for lead generation
- Experience with CRM systems and lead tracking
- Ability to work independently and remotely while driving results
- Entrepreneurial mindset – this is a new role, and you will shape it from the ground up
