Senior Full Stack Java Developer

We are seeking a passionate and talented full stack Java developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance applications that drive innovation in manufacturing technologies. You will work with cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and methodologies in an agile environment, shaping the future of automation.

Requirements

• Proficient in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), multithreading, and exception handling.
• Experience with DB2, IMS, Java, COBOL, PL1, J2EE, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of Openshift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, such as collections, generics, and IO.
• Expertise in Java frameworks like Spring (Core, MVC, Boot, etc.) for building enterprise-level applications.
• Understanding of integration between different technologies.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
• Over ten years’ experience in relevant programming languages.
• Agile working experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the refactoring of mainframe applications to Java-based cloud applications as a senior cloud architect.
• Conduct a proof of concept with a small application to select an appropriate code conversion solution.
• Work with feature team members to analyse, design, develop, and test technical products or applications within an agile/DevOps delivery model.
• Maintain, develop, deploy, and operate backend and frontend cross-platform applications based on Java and Angular frameworks.
• Implement robust automated test cases to ensure technical solutions meet expected outcomes and business objectives.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures, protocols, and required system documentation.
