Qualifications, skills and requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Minimum grade twelve certificate.
• Valid code eight or B or EB unendorsed driver’s licence.
• At least five years’ driving experience.
• Should ideally reside in Tshikota, Louis Trichardt [Makhado] town, Tshikuwi, or Ntjelele cross.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills plus one other language.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Suitable candidates will undergo a prerequisite driver’s test.
• Able to work shifts.
• Certificate of medical fitness.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Following all company policies and procedures, including shift procedures.
• Patrolling designated sections of the N1 North route.
• Removing objects that may threaten the safety of road users.
• Assisting road users in case of breakdowns by providing petrol, water, or tyre changes.
• Responding to accidents and providing first aid where necessary.
• Performing scene safety and pre-warning to secure accident or incident sites.
• Maintaining cleanliness and care of vehicles, tools, and all equipment.
• Recording and reporting all damages, shortages, and incidents to the call centre.
