#LockdownSA: Think Ahead launches free online live coding classes for children

Classes will be available for students from Grade 4 upwards, with two sessions per day, and will include the following sessions:

• Introduction to coding with Swift Playgrounds: Learn how to code by giving simple commands, write functions and run loops all while solving puzzles in a dynamic 3D world.

• The Incredible Code Machine: Use your coding skills to code new parts for the Incredible Code Machine. Write your own code to create cyborg eyes, electric hoolahoops, meatball sleeves and so much more.

• Build your own game with Hopscotch: Build an interactive digital game, Learn the basic building blocks of programming a game in a fun and interactive way.

For the grades 6–9 students, the following will be available:

• Introduction to coding with Swift Playgrounds: Learn how to code by giving simple commands, write functions and run loops all while solving puzzles in a dynamic 3D world.

• Lights, Camera, Code! Learn how to code your very own camera app with Swift Playgrounds. Explore your inner designer and code a photo board using your pictures and embellish them with stickers, labels and boarders.

• Build your own game with Hopscotch: Build an interactive digital game, Learn the basic building blocks of programming a game in a fun and interactive way.
