An infrastructure engineering and advisory firm with a commitment to maximising the value of infrastructure is seeking a senior business intelligence developer to join their team. The role involves data modelling, dashboard creation, and providing analytical insights to clients, supporting their mission to create impactful infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions, including data warehousing models
- Evaluate and improve current BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and analyses
- Create visualisations and reports for projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Provide client data support
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, or similar
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in Business Intelligence Development
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or Azure data engineer certification
- Experience with data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling) and data mining
- Strong understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL framework
- Familiarity with BI technologies, such as:
- Power BI
- DAX
- Microsoft SQL, T-SQL
- SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
- Azure
