This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project within the oil and gas downstream sector, where your expertise in turnaround management and planning will play a crucial role in project execution.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead turnaround assurance reviews and cold-eye reviews for various facilities.
  • Assess and improve turnaround processes to enhance predictability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct risk management, scope challenge, and schedule challenge workshops.
  • Evaluate and refine turnaround Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay updated with new technologies to optimise turnaround performance.
  • Develop and manage maintenance programs, procedures, and systems.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams, including repair procedure development.
  • Oversee contract strategies, technical bid evaluations, and procurement.
  • Participate in major Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) activities and emergency shutdowns.
  • Lead planning, procurement, and execution of expense projects.
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Turnaround Management within the Oil & Gas Downstream sector.
  • Proficiency in turnaround planning software (Prometheus, ROSER, Primavera P6, etc.).
  • Knowledge of turnaround stage-gated concepts.
  • Experience in turnaround budgeting, cost optimization, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with Solomon indices and benchmarking.
  • SAP system proficiency.
  • Certification Preference: PMP, FE, PE, API, NACE, or ASME.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
