Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant – End of May Start | Dubai, UAE We are hiring on behalf of a respected construction contracting company in Dubai. As part of their finance team expansion, they are looking to appoint a dedicated Junior Accountant to join them by the end of May.

About the Role
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with prior experience in the construction or contracting sector. You will support daily financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and assist with project-based accounting requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and ledger entries
• Support monthly reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash
• Prepare and organise supporting documents for audits and reports
• Assist in payroll preparation and expense tracking
• Coordinate with the finance team on site-related accounting activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience of 3+ years as a Junior Accountant in the UAE construction/contracting industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
