Job description

• Edit both offline and online content to produce short-form video for the channel.
• Conceptualise, edit promos for specific shows, and develop themed granular content.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create engaging video content for digital platforms.
• Research, conceptualise, pitch, and create original video content for Toxmedia sister companies.
• Enhance audience engagement by producing high-quality, creative video campaigns.
• Develop audiovisual reel packages for various stakeholders.
• Work under tight deadlines to deliver polished video projects on time.
• Meet with clients to understand their vision and style preferences.
• Operate video editing software and computer-based editing systems.
• Develop storyboards and gain approval before executing projects.
• Enhance video and sound quality using advanced editing tools.
• Ensure that all finalised videos are formatted correctly for different platforms.
• Experiment with styles, techniques, and graphic elements to enhance video aesthetics.
• Organise and sync raw footage, sound, and other media assets efficiently.
• Assemble rough cuts and refine them into a final high-quality production.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in video production and editing.
• Strong ability to edit premium video content for social and digital platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
• Adaptability and efficiency in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
• Relevant qualification in Multimedia Studies (Degree/Diploma).
• Excellent judgment and ability to create content tailored for social media.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential material professionally.
• Creative mindset with a passion for film and video editing.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.
• Strong self-motivation, commitment, and dedication to projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
