Cost Control Engineer – June 2025 Start | Dubai, UAE We are hiring on behalf of a leading construction contracting company based in Dubai, delivering large-scale infrastructure and building projects across the region. They are currently seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join their project management team, starting in June 2025

About the role This role is ideal for a detail driven cost control engineer who thrives in a dynamic project environment. You will play a key role in monitoring budgets, controlling project costs, and ensuring financial performance is aligned with project goals.  

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control project budgets across multiple sites
• Track project expenses and prepare cost reports for management
• Analyse variances between estimated and actual costs
• Support procurement and planning teams with cost forecasting
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
• Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and finance teams
• Ensure cost control procedures comply with company standards

Requirements

• Proven experience of 5+ years in cost control engineering within the UAE construction/contracting industry
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking
• Proficient in cost management tools and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
