Based at: Orms Printroom, Cape Town
Responsibilities:
- Attend to clients at the counter for collections, drop-offs, and payments.
- Process photobook, scanning, and print orders.
- Ensure all jobs taken in are paid upfront or a deposit is received before production.
- Keep the product display, storeroom, reception, and viewing table neat and tidy.
- Offer and make coffee for clients waiting for a consultation.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the door.
- Liaise with consultants and designers to manage client flow.
Minimum educational qualifications:- Grade 12
- Computer literate
- Outstanding customer service skills and etiquette
- Well-spoken
- Knowledge of technology and digital printing services
- Previous experience in photographic printing and sales is advantageous
Inherent/specific job requirements:- Maintain a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
- Have a professional and friendly approach to clients in-store, on the phone, and via email.
- Seek training if unable to assist a client.
- Be proficient in Photoshop and Orms Create & Print software and stay up to date.
- Have excellent product knowledge.
- Respect colleagues and the working environment.
- Represent Orms in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Job summary:- Take in printing orders, handle collections and payments.
- Assist and advise clients on their printing needs.
- Promote upselling and marketing of other Orms divisions.
- Contact clients for order collections.
- Book incoming jobs on the production system.
- Maintain knowledge of Orms Create & Print software.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy.
- Stay informed about new promotions, offers, and digital printing software.
- Pack completed jobs neatly in the storeroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
