Intern - Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing Internship – 12 months – amazing opportunity in the footwear industry. Company based in Parow, seeking graduates wanting to gain practical exposure, learn from experienced professionals and kick start their careers. This opportunity will provide exposure to all the different digital marketing functions within the company, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to support daily operations and contribute to impactful marketing initiatives.

Duties include the following, but not limited to:

Social Media Management and Content Creation

• Assist the team with growing the company’s social media presence and establish a greater following
• Create visually appealing and engaging content, such as graphics, images, videos and written posts
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Monitor interaction and engagement on social media platforms, providing feedback under the guidance of the team

Marketing Campaign support

• Actively collaborate with digital marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas that meet team goals
• Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media and SEO
• Coordinate and support the team with various campaign tasks and promotions

Analytics and Reporting

• Assist in tracking website analytics and contribute to SEO efforts
• Provide suggestions based on data insights and metrics for optimizing social media and marketing strategies

E-commerce

• Assist in the management and optimization of our online store
• Create and update product listings under the guidance of the e-commerce site merchandiser, i.e. writing compelling product descriptions, images, pricing
• Collaborate with team members on various e-commerce projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing or related field
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g. shopify, Woo Commerce) content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and Creative programs (e.g. Adobe creative suite)
• Experienced with SEO, Google Analytics and other digital marketing tools
• A creative and passionate individual who is detail orientated and highly organized

Stipend: R7 000
